Lincoln College: Normal Campus Housing: Assignments

Assignments

Your room and apartment are not just places to sleep and do homework. It is a place to meet new people, hang-out, study and create life long memories.

First Year and Transfer Students

Once you applied and have been accepted to Lincoln College you will receive an acceptance packet that includes a housing application. Simply complete the application and return it with your $200 housing deposit and we’ll have your room waiting for you when you arrive.

How Are My Roommates Chosen?

Information that you include in your housing application will be used to determine roommate compatibility. We also work closely with your admissions counselor as needed to determine what students would be the best fit for you to live with during your time as a student.

Returning Students

The room selection process for the next academic year is conducted each spring. To participate in the selection process, students must meet any remaining financial obligations to the college and be registered for classes for the following fall semester.

Each April, the Office of Residential and Student Life publishes the procedures that will be followed in making housing selections for students who are returning the following academic year. Since these procedures may vary from year to year, students are advised to read them carefully as soon as they are distributed.

Students will be assigned space on an “as available” basis provided the students are in good financial and academic standing with the College. A student who owes the college money may apply for campus housing, but no assignment will be made until their financial obligation is met.
